I enjoyed going to Utah with my family and being outdoors. Leaving Coco Maxx for the first was a struggle, but the memories we made were definitely worth the sorrow. I got to go fly fishing, hiking, white water rafting, and we made lots of memories that can never be forgotten.

I had a blast during the first Track & Field of the year. It was cold and windy, but it was fun being back on the track with my teammates. Plus, I won my first event of the year—the 300 meter hurdles.

Coco Maxx wanted no part of the ice and snow.

During the ice storm of 2021, my family passed out water to local residents, most of whom had no power and no running water due to busted water lines.

My family’s best decision of 2020 by far was adding Coco Maxx to the Smith clan. Adopting a dog took lots of consideration and convincing, but I am so happy I am able to care for and nurture another being outside of myself. Plus, he’s a great little brother.

I created this blog to help me maintain a sense of normalcy during this weird time of being locked down during the Corona virus. I’ve found that exercising in our home gym helps me stay sane.
