I was proud to be apart of the competition at the Vex World Championship in Dallas last week. One of our teams took home the Innovate Award, and we all had a great time bonding, learning and competing.

I couldn’t be prouder of Southlake Carroll Robotics. Our teams placed No. 1 and No. 3, respectively, at the 6A UIL State Tournament. More competitions upcoming; then on to state. #FiredUp!!

Helping to raise money and awareness for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Being selected as a Peer Advisor for St. Jude Leadership Society has been the highlight of my month so far. I’m proud to be a part of this amazing organization that works tirelessly to support children diagnosed with cancer.

Being selected as a student ambassador for the MCF AI Boot Camp is a blessing. The program was a fantastic experience, one I won’t soon forget. Last Saturday, I graduated from the iLEADinSTEM program, which was created to help middle school and high school girls interested in pursuing a career in STEM get relevant experience and training from expert instructors. I had a great time and learned a lot.

Attending college became very really last week when I attended my first college tour at Carroll Senior High School. I made a list of the strong STEM schools and made sure to visit them. The list included UT Austin, Michigan State, Penn State, and Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.

I’m having a blast spending each Saturday at the Mark Cuban Foundation Boot Camps. I’m learning a lot, but more importantly, I’m getting to apply a lot of what I’m learning in my Honors Robotics and Rocket Science classes.

I spent the first half of Saturday morning at the Dallas Chinese Community Center’s Chinese Calligraphy Competition. It was NOT easy, but it was fun. Eager to learn the results next month
