Each year, my Dad takes me on a Daddy-Daughter trip for my birthday. In 2022, we visited Houston and I was able to visit the Holocaust Museum in downtown. It was a sobering experience. We listened to many eye-opening stories and saw artifacts that made me proud for how much the world has progressed. It is heartbreaking to think what Jewish families had to endure under the Nazi regime.
